Microsoft Windows Support

Windows 11 is Microsoft's latest Operating System. Released in 2021, it is the successor to Windows 10. If you want to learn more about what's new in Windows 11, visit our Windows 11 quick introduction page for more information.

We offer support for Windows 11 that includes domain-based management, security patching, a baseline software offering along with support for issues relating to the operating system and its functionality. The operating system is deployed as part of our standard build and is tested for compatibility with our select recommended computer hardware.

We also support older versions of Windows when required by software compatibility and other special situations. Please refer to our operating system support lifecycle page for more information.

The SCS Baseline Software Configuration includes the following:

  • Microsoft Windows 11 (Enterprise Edition)
  • Microsoft Office 365
  • Mozilla FireFox
  • Microsoft Windows Defender
  • Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client
  • Zoom
  • Crowdstrike Falcon Sensor

Software Center

SCS software supported Windows systems are managed via Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune and have access to a software deployment store called Software Center. Software Center makes it easy to obtain and install software that is part of the baseline offering as well as updated installation packages of commonly used software.
